Pincushions, I can't stop making them

But what do I do with them all?

My favorite right now is the one in the covered tulip vase that I bought in Missoula while visiting my sister Mary...
The 3 most recent pincushions
                                                               With the lid off.
With the lid on.

Nothing fancy except the pin buddy.

I thought this one was perfect on it's little candlestick base.
And I love the Christmas Tree Pin buddy.
So that is what I did on a rainy Thursday when Jim was in Fargo getting his car fixed. (Not the new one thank dog!)  It's wiring was eaten by an animal.  We should maybe build a garage????
Hugs,
Nancy

  1. Cute! Especially the sugar bowl pin cushion. I hadn't thought of putting one in the lid.

  2. Those are beautiful! Are the"covered tulip vase" and the sugar bowl referring to the same thing? I am confused.

  3. Hey Mary,
Yes I am calling the sugar bowl the covered tulip vase. It didn't even cross my mind that it was a sugar bowl.

And Cheryl, I kept trying to figure out how to put the pincushion into the 'sugar bowl'. I have had it for about 5 months. Then just a few days ago I thought.. IN THE LID! That set off my newest pincushion craziness.

  4. So does this mean I should buy any awesome covered sugar bowls that I see? Ones that pin cushions can fit in the lid?
