Just as I suspected!

  1. I'm still reading mine, but then, I didn't start until today at the beach. My suspicion is that Snape is really Harry's father in disguise. I'm probably wrong, but I think my idea would make a good plotline too, no matter what Rowling wrote.

  2. Shades of Star Wars eh? I know JK has said on her website that Snape is not Harry's father so that is one idea that I have not fallen into. I would tell you all the horcruxes that I wrote down after reading number six were right. I couldn't think of one, I only got seven. But my other prediction came true and I will tell you after you read yours.

  4. Gee. I'm definitely not into HP as much as you are. I'd forgotten there were horcruxes. I had to read the synopsis of all of the six previous books before I started the seventh. And I'd never read JK's website, so I didn't know any extra stuff. It was satisfying to find out the ending, even though it was totally predictable with no exciting twists, especially the epilogue. Tell me about your prediction that came true?

  5. My predictions were, Snape and Voldemort die and Snape is redeemed, he was loyal to Dumbledore all along. (Would Dumbledore really be that wrong? NO!) And the horcruxes were...locket,ring,teacup,diary, and Harry. I said Voldemort was the 6th not the snake. And I couldn't get the tiara so I thought that Voldemort hadn't made all of them yet.
Yes I am way too much into them. In fact I will be rereading the last one again in a week or so. I have to let it settle first. I did think she spent way too much time wandering around England in a tent and the plot lagged because of it. I think she should have shown some of what was happening at Hogwarts during that time but maybe she tried it and it made it too depressing. Still I was happy with the ending and yes it was predictable. One of the reasons she is so fun to read (and reread) is her writing is so interesting that you read it even when you know, or suspect, what is going to happen.
